From time to time, everybody experiences a problem of some kind when trying to run software on PC's and windows, the reasons as to why software fails to work are many and varied, sometimes the solution is quick and easy, sometimes it is not.

Our experienced support staff have had years of experience in trouble shooting problems across many configurations of windows and will usually be able to offer a solution quickly. WINDOWS VISTA
With the release of Windows Vista OS, some software may not work straight out of the box as it is quite different to previous versions of the Windows OS. Our developers are slowly starting to release patches to make some software Windows Vista Compatible. You should check the Software Update page to look for possible Vista patches for the product you are having trouble with. We update that area as new patches are released. If it is a Starforce related problem, please see the information below.
STARFORCE PROTECTION
A number of people have mentioned some compatibility problems with the Starforce protection scheme and Windows Vista. Starforce have released an update to the drivers and some basic steps to try to get games running under Windows Vista. Please see the steps below and if you need more information, follow THIS link to the Starforce Website.

1) Right-click on the game's shortcut, select properties and click "Run as administrator";
2) Run the game;
3) It will ask to reboot the PC;
4) Don't reboot;
5) Run "sfdrvup.exe" from here:
http://www.star-force.com/support/sfdrvup.zip
6) Reboot.
In some cases, an update is issued by the publishers to correct problems and or add new features, these can usually fix any problems not listed above and can be found in the Software Update area.
